The School in Delhi NCR is in the capital and its surrounding periphery. The area has historically been competitive for schooling, as Delhi houses all diplomats and bureaucrats. The brief worked around modern FAR and ground coverage rules, whilst this left less room in form in order to not build high, there was enough creative room for other aspects of the project. The selection of Terra cotta is a sustainable choice as well as helps maintain cooler temperatures in summer, the shading and louvre systems achieve the same whilst allowing maximum natural lighting. The 2d plan submission to municipality was done in collaboration with a local firm Manish Jain & Associates, all other aspect of the project including design, 3D and facade has been done by ANS.
